TRIANGLES

I feel a part of a triple straight line put together in my relationship.

Pyramid-esque style.

He is your bestie, yet more time is spent with him.

You are there for him when you are not with me.

The back and forths between both of you

I wonder when it would end.

I am African.

A man of pride

A Yoruba African, birthed into the tradition of silver tongues

A prideful silver tongue if you will

My affluence needs no spoon

I think highly of myself to say the least.

Esteem on a 100

Yet you frolic around town with another

I have to be okay with it all or I am labelled

Labels : You are so insecure, You are weird, You complain too much.

The best line of all is he is just a friend, nothing more.

They are always just friends till they be shifting the undergarments anti-gravity style and drilling the oil of my very fertile land.

I thought all rights to the land were reserved for me alone.

How gullible.

I always assumed a cage to be square like or cubical naturally.

So pardon my amusement with this triangle

Looking for cracks to breakout

No need for ultimatums.

My voice is now dampened, distorted and morphed,

Only my actions can speak now.

Stepping of this cliff to ride solo

Lastly, middle finger in the air to all shapes especially triangles.
