Tradition should never be set in stone
It should be continuous like time.
Ever changing,ever evolving.
Should be pliable like water or metal with heat.
Culture like humans should have a life cycle.
What was acceptable years back not necessarily be correct today.
We should be ready to change with exposure to new information.
We should be ready to shed our old methods to give life to new and fresh ways.
We should accept reasonable challenges to the norms,
After all, new breakthroughs are brought about by challenging the norms.
Rigidity and flexibility has its place in creating a better world.
Prophet Abraham, Mary Slessor, Bill Gates to name a few who dared to challenge the norms at the time.
Culture should never be set in stone, after all people make culture not the other way around.
